Who runs this

Works Better Corporation, a nonpartisan public benefit corporation, builds this site.

Independent public-records project, separate from the State of Colorado and from every party and campaign.

Every number carries one of four labels (FACT, CALC, SAMPLE or PENDING) and a source you can open.
A question people actually ask

Why are groceries so expensive?

We track overall metro prices, but we have not verified a grocery-specific Colorado series. So this site will not put a number on it.

PENDING No verified source yet; nothing here is guessed

Why there is no number here

This site leaves a figure blank rather than publishing one it has not checked. A plausible unsourced number is worse than an empty field, because a reader cannot tell it from a real one.
