Your take on this project
This is the city’s own money. The City of Lakewood appropriated it to a city project. It is never added to a State of Colorado figure or a county figure on this site.
What the budget book prints
What this page does not say
- Spending. The book prints one appropriation for 2026, a revised 2025 budget and forecasts for four later years. It prints no spend to date, so this page shows none and does not estimate one.
- The plan for later years. The book states that figures for 2027 through 2030 are forecasts and are not appropriated until later budgets. No forecast figure is on this page.
- Money outside the plan’s funds. Some project sheets carry money from the General Fund or the Lakewood Reinvestment Authority, which are not among the plan’s capital funds. None is on this one.
- State money in the city. The State of Colorado also spends capital money at sites inside the city. That is a different government’s money, listed on the Projects page and never added to this figure.

The row is one line of the plan’s project table, and its funds are read from the same project’s detail sheet. The fund summaries, the project table and the printed total are checked against each other before any page is built.
